Qabas al-Musawi

Peace Process Support and Research Assistant

Qabas joined Inclusive Peace’s Peace Process Support and Research teams as an assistant. Her work experience and research interests focus on international conflict resolution and applied peacebuilding mechanisms in the Middle East and North Africa.

Qabas has previously worked as an Impact Research Assistant at the Constitution Unit, University College London, focusing on researching political practitioners’ views on constitutional issues and tracking policy developments across various sectors. She has also previously worked as an Online Media Associate at the International Crisis Group, where she drafted and published outputs in English and Arabic, managed social media content, and increased Arabic engagement. Before this role, Qabas worked as a Freelance Journalist, contributing news and feature articles and opinion pieces on African and Middle Eastern current affairs. Qabas holds an MA in Legal and Political Theory from UCL and a BSc in Political Science & History from Brunel University London.
