Majken works on communicating the thoughts and actions of Inclusive Peace to peacebuilders, partners, donors, and the wider public.

Majken has a background in development communication and journalism. She has previously worked on communication for government development agencies, INGOs, and advocacy groups with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. She has worked in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR communicating agricultural research for among others the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and environmental rights issues for Danmission. Majken has also been reporting freelance for the Danish and international media covering environmental, human rights, and conflict stories.

Majken has an MA in Journalism from the University of Southern Denmark and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen.
