HOW WE ADVISE

 HELPDESK

We respond to requests for expertise in peace and transition processes through direct advice, facilitation, input papers, and provide access to a pool of experts 

 

 GUIDANCE

We produce briefing notes on specific peace processes relating to a diversity of actors, participation modalities in negotiations, and process design

 

 LEARNING

We do capacity building of conflict mediation and mediation support institutions to further their ability to push for effective inclusion in peace processes

 

  OBSERVATORY

We draw on comparative evidence to analyse ongoing peace processes for their likelihood to achieve viable outcomes, and offer timely recommendations

 

 MONITORING

We develop monitoring and evaluation systems, tools and methodologies and support the planning and evaluation of projects and programmes

 

 POLICY SUPPORT

We provide input into policy processes, e.g. Security Council, General Assembly or Human Rights Council debates, SDGs and UN High-Level Reviews
